However, her family was actually linked to Minworth and Curdworth in Warwickshire (where they farmed) and then with Aston in Birmingham and Royal Sutton Coldfield in Warwickshire. In the 1841 Census, they were living in the centre of Birmingham. From information found, it would appear the there were two Richards Sanders in the Sanders family, who were cousins. Richard, the father of Ann Sanders 1786, marrying Elizabeth Earp in Maxstoke, Warwickshire, and his cousin the other Richards Sanders, marrying Elizabeth Wright in Aston, now part of Birmingham. The families were from the Coleshill, Maxstoke, Curdworth, Fillongley and Minworth areas of Warwickshire which more or less border each other.
