Notes: In the 1851 Census, John was living in Haworth, Yorkshire with his parents. In the1861 Census and 1871 Census, again living with his parents in Keighley. In the 1881 Census and 1891 Census, John was living in Oldham with his wife and children. In the 1901 Census and 1911 Census, John was still living in Oldham.
John's wife Alice, was born 18th April 1843 in Delph, Saddleworth, Yorkshire and died in Oldham, Lancashire in 1918. Her parents were John Lees and Esther Taylor.
John's daughter Sarah Alice, move to the USA, arriving in New York on 24th December 1919. She then moved onto Boston in 1834. She petitioned for naturalizing in 1943 and died in Los Angeles in September 1950.
