Notes: In the 1911 Census Henry and Sarah were living at 42 New Street, Idle, Bradford. With them were their children Emma, William Henry, Ethel, Thomas and Alice. The census information states that Henry and Sarah had had seven children, of which one had died (Albert 1908) and 6 were living at home. However, son Charlie born 1903 was not listed. Searches have found no trace of Charlie in the census. In the 1921 Census, the family were living at 49 Cato Street North, in Nechells, Birmingham. At this time all eight of Sarah Ann's children were present, Emma, William, Ethel, Thomas, Alice, Henry and Douglas. Albert was buried at Holy Trinity, Idle, Yorkshire, on 16th May 1908, fifteen days after his birth.
On Sarah Ann's birth certificate her mother is shown as Martha Schoon, formerly Matthew. A mystery, since on her parents wedding certificate (nine months earlier) she is shown as Martha Massey. The birth was registered by Sarah Ann's father Albert Edward.
